Admission Process for Indian Students

Step Description

1 Check Eligibility: Students must have a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in their 12th-grade examinations (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

2 NEET Qualification: Indian students must qualify for the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) as per the NMC (National Medical Commission) guidelines.

3 Application Submission: Students need to fill out an online application form and submit required documents: 10th & 12th marksheets (or 11th if 12th is unavailable), passport (or Aadhar card if passport is unavailable), passport-sized photos, student email ID, and phone number. All documents must be translated into Russian; otherwise, the university will not accept the application.

4 Offer Letter: Students receive an offer letter before the entrance exam.

5 Entrance Examination: Until 2023, KFU conducted an online entrance exam covering Chemistry, Biology, and English. Since 2024, the university has introduced an offline entrance exam at the Russian Culture Center in Delhi, testing students in Biology and English, similar to an Olympiad format. Many Indian students have already appeared for this examination.

6 Agreement Signing: If a student qualifies for the entrance exam, they must sign an agreement sent by the university.

7 Tuition Fee Payment: Once the agreement is signed, the student must deposit the first-year tuition fees into the university’s official account.

8 Invitation Letter: Only after fee payment will the university issue an official invitation letter.

9 Medical Report: Students must obtain an HIV test report from Dr. Lal PathLabs, ensuring that the report mentions the student’s passport number, birthdate, and includes a QR code, as this is required by the Russian Embassy.

10 Visa Processing: Students submit their visa application along with required documents to the Russian Embassy.

11 Travel Arrangements: After obtaining a visa, students book flight tickets and confirm hostel accommodations before traveling to Russia.

12 Arrival & Enrollment: Upon arrival, students attend an orientation program, complete their enrollment process, and begin their MBBS classes at KFU.
